Oktoberfest

Did you know that Oktoberfest is the world’s largest fair with more than 6 million people attending Munich every year and maybe not so surprisingly that about 7 million liters of beer are drunk. It seems to me that there are two essential ingredients for any good Oktoberfest celebration – PORK and BEER.  So just in case you want to get in on the action, here’s a couple of ideas to help you celebrate with family and friends. Pulled Pork and Slaw Burgers Pork Sausages with Bacon and Apple Sauerkraut Chicken Schnitzel with Sauerkraut Beer, Bacon and Cheddar Bread Prost (Cheers) and Zum Wohl (To your health)
