Homemade Butter Chicken Spice Mix

Homemade is always best.  Why buy something in a jar when you can quickly make up your own mix.  Whilst you’ve got all your spices out of the cupboard, make two batches so you have one ready for next time given butter chicken is such a family favourite.

This is also a great gift idea so put a ribbon on a jar of the spice mix as a nice homemade gift for someone special.

Ingredients:

    • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
    • 2 tsp smoked paprika
    • 3 tsp garam masala
    • 2 tsp ground coriander
    • 1 tsp ground cardamom
    • 2 tsp ground cumin
    • 1 tsp ground ginger
    • 2 tsp ground turmeric
    • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

Method:

  • Combine all spices in a jar and shake to mix well.
