One Pan Honey Soy Chicken

Chicken Breast is a staple in all households so here is a one pan dish that’s a lifesaver for quick and easy mid-week meals.  We found an easy way to do everyone’s favourite Honey Soy Chicken. Grab your largest baking dish, your favourite vegetables and some quality chicken breast and you are ready to go. This is a delicious dinner and is even better as leftovers.  This in a tradies lunchbox is a winner.

Ingredients:

  • 1kg Free Range Chicken Breast
  • 1/4 cup Tamari / Soy Sauce / Coconut Aminos
  • 1/2 a lemon, juiced
  • 2-3 garlic cloves, minced / crushed
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • a big drizzle of honey
  • 1 zucchini, thinly sliced
  • 1 yellow capscium, chopped
  • 1/2 head of broccoli, chopped
  • a punnet of cherry tomatoes
  • cooked rice

Method:cinc

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees
  2. Mix soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic and sesame oil in a small jug
  3. Chop all your vegetables and place into the baking dish
  4. Lay your chicken breast down the middle of your baking dish and spread the vegies around the chicken
  5. Pour the jug of sauce over the breast and vegies
  6. Dip your spoon into a jar of honey and drizzle over the chicken breast.  No need to accurately measure, just go by how sweet your family might like it
  7. Cook for 20-30 minutes depending on the size of your chicken breasts
  8. Whilst your chicken is in the oven, cook some rice
  9. Once your chicken is cooked, remove from the oven and spoon the rice into the dish.  This helps soak up all that yummy sauce
